Cataract Creek Provincial Recreation Area is 45 km southwest of Longview on Hwy. 541 and 12 km south on Forestry Trunk Road 940. Cataract is another word for a waterfall, which is why this creek, featuring several waterfalls along its course, was given its name. This park contains a campground, a day use area, and access to the Cataract Creek Snow Vehicle Public Land Use Zone . This park is a popular spot for fishing in Cataract Creek and for hiking the 4km (8km return) trail to the thundering Titan Falls.
