Rising 100 metres above the plains surrounding Grande Prairie, Kleskun Hills Provincial Park protects the largest parcel of native upland prairie vegetation remaining in the Peace Country. Exposed badland hillsides provide the backdrop to an everchanging tapestry of wildflowers, including southern species like prickly pear cactus. Visitors can roam the hills, spot rare birds and butterflies, and take in spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. Camping The Kleskun Hill Campground in Kleskun Hill Natural Area is operated by the County of Grande Prairie.
