Mikisew offers day use and car camping opportunities with activities such as paddling, disc golf, biking, hiking, fishing, and swimming. The park features three shallow, sandy beaches on Eagle Lake for swimming. There is also a pet exercise area with a pet friendly beach and fenced area.

Mikisew has two campgrounds: The Hardwoods and The Pines. Both campgrounds feature campsites electrical and non-electrical campsites, with centrally located comfort stations that include flush toilets, showers, and laundry facilities.

The Hardwoods Campground features mature maple, oak, and mixed wood forests. It is close to the beaches, dog park, and day use area.
