ns parkswhat to expect
Located close to the town of Windsor, this quiet campground on the Meander River offers easy access to the many cultural and natural attractions in the area. The area's abundant gypsum deposits have influenced the landscape and vegetation in and around the park. Campsites are nestled into a mix of forest and farmland habitats. Nodding Trillium, Ostrich Fern, and Black-eyed Susans can be found throughout the area. The park offers an 65-site campground (28 Wooded and 37 Open), comfort station (showers and flush toilets), dishwashing station, picnic area, playground, and hiking trails. Although there are no serviced sites, water taps, and vault toilets are conveniently located throughout the campground. Located 6 km (4 mi.) east of Brooklyn, Hants County just off Route 14.
