Thunder Lake Provincial Park is an enjoyable camping destination with 127 well treed campsites including 66 powered sites. Families can enjoy leisure activities and picnics at the large beach and playgrounds. Boaters, water skiers, and anglers have access to the seven square kilometer lake from a boat launch and dock. The lake is home to both northern pike and yellow perch. Nature lovers will appreciate bird watching and wildlife viewing from the beach or while hiking the picturesque lakeside trail. Forested trails are ideal for mountain biking through gentle hilly terrain. Paddle boards, canoes and kayaks can be rented on location.
