Winnipeg Beach is a terrific place to celebrate summer and has been since the 1900s. Of the many recreation and railway-related structures built by the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) at Winnipeg Beach, only the steel water tower survives. Out of use, the structure is the best example of only five surviving riveted-steel water towers in Manitoba. As in its heyday, the tower remains a prominent visual landmark in and around the beach community. The campground is close to many conveniences and activities and features 120 barrier free, full service campsites, ranging from back-in, pull-through and “buddy” sites which are intended for family and friends that want to camp together.
