what to expect

Swan Lake Provincial Recreation Area is located 40 km southwest of Rocky Mountain House on Highway 752 and 20 km southeast on a gravel access road. Swan Lake is home to excellent fishing, boating, kayaking and peaceful camping experiences. While campers may take advantage of the proximity to off-highway vehicle (OHV) trails, off-loading or operating OHVs inside the park is strictly prohibited. OHVs must remain on trailers until they reach the nearby trail systems and staging areas.
